A coordination meeting was held to discuss a proposed investment involving the development of an anode material manufacturing facility with an annual production capacity of up to 50,000 tonnes at the Gurun Industrial Area.
The meeting brought together technical agencies including Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Syarikat Air Darul Aman (SADA), Majlis Perbandaran Sungai Petani Kedah (MPSPK), developers, and investor representatives from China.
Discussions focused on infrastructure readiness, utilities supply, green energy planning, regulatory compliance, and phased implementation timelines to ensure smooth project execution.
The initiative reflects Kedah’s continued commitment to providing a conducive, competitive, and sustainable investment environment for high-value investments.
